Our weather-resistant hammock range of polyester hammocks (Durasun) have been created to provide you with a hammock you can enjoy outdoors all summer, no matter the weather. Made from soft polyester cord that feels similar to cotton.

Polyester is a well-regarded weather-resistant material making it a great option for Mexican hammocks. In thicker than standard cord it is the hammock material of choice for when you want to leave your hammock outdoors all summer.

We use a soft supportive polyester cord that has a similar feel and comfort level to regular cotton hammocks.

Each hammock purchase helps contribute to growing 'Fundacion Cielo' a registered non-profit organisation working within these communities where there is often economic disparity and lack of employment opportunities to help drive social change, through alleviating poverty, improving health, education and gender equality.

Material

100% Polyester. Made from thick and durable polyester cord to create a more durable weather resistant outdoor hammock.

Polyester is a well-regarded material often used in the marine industry offering greater durability for constant outdoor exposure. It will not rot, is resistant to mildew and is quicker drying than cotton cord.

Handwoven like all our hammocks the Mexican weave provides a soft supportive feel as it stretches and shapes to your body shape.

Colour Info

Black polyester cord. 

Black colour hammocks, in general, can be more prone to fading. By reducing prolonged exposure to sunlight this can help keep your hammock looking good for longer.
