The Grivel G Zero Ice Axe has been designed for glacier trekking and classic mountaineering, as well as for the specific requirements of these activities.
The steel blade has been hot forged in a single piece in Italy's Valle d'Aosta region, making it highly resistant to wear and tear and giving it greater inertia for planting its bevelled tip in the ice.
What's more, the straight handle is ideal as a walking stick on glacier treks. This makes it the perfect technical tool for cutting your way through blocks of ice by carving steps in the snow using the steel purlin and spike, in complete safety. Last but not least, the EVO fibre strap means you won't lose your ice axe.
